Over the few days before Xenovere 2's release, the embargo on releasing footage of the final build was broken. We here at The Time Nest will not be talking about what was shown, but will be doing our own review of the game, with spoilers, starting on the 28th of October when the game is released everywhere. What Exactly Happened? As far as can be seen, something happened over at Bandai Namco EU that led to many Dragon Ball Youtubers in the EU getting the game earlier than intended. A lot of Dragon Ball Youtubers are given the game early anyways, but usually only a day or two beforehand. Many youtubers in the EU who got the game quickly started releasing footage. Whether it be through livestreams or actual uploads of footage, everything was out there. Roster, story, and everything in between. The AftermathThough it took around a day, many of the youtubers who released footage have been given copyright strikes. Many people are angry with these youtubers due to the fact of them seemingly using the breaking of the embargo to get views. As well as the fact that many people have now been spoiled when it comes to the story. Bandai Namco did as much clean up as possible, but a few youtubers have slipped through the cracks. What should be learned from this experience is that in our pursuit to make content, we should still remember the rules put in place. In this case, the risk majorly outweighed the reward and those that took the risk have paid the price for it. Related Articles
